Get Involved
The Lake County Historical Society depends on financial and in-kind donated items support, volunteer efforts, and estate gifts to maintain the historical records and tell the stories of Lake County, Ohio. Your interest and contribution in time or resources is very much needed and very welcome.
Volunteering
Adult volunteers are needed in a wide variety of areas from reception and library aides to educational, maintenance, and special events. Volunteering can be as limited as a single event, or assisting on a regular basis. A Volunteer Application needs to be sent to the Center with areas of interest checked. Youth Volunteers
The Society welcomes youth volunteers age 15 and above for summer camp and special events. Students who need community service hours for their school requirements are also welcome and receive certificates to return to their school. Contact the Youth Education Dept. for opportunities.

Corporate Volunteering
The center encourage companies, large groups, and volunteer organizations who have interest in volunteering a day's time to call to make arrangements.
