Overview
Exhibits at the Lake County History Center may occupy an entire exhibit room or be small enough to fill just a wall display. They are created, designed and installed to present Lake County stories using the strongest elements of the collection of the Lake County Historical Society, enhanced by research and material from the archives of the Lake County Historical Society. Items on loan from the community are used to enhance exhibits.
The LCHS Collection team follow best practice procedures while collecting, preserving and storing the LCHS collections. New items donated to the Society must have a Lake County connection and be reviewed by the collection committee before accessing Donors are asked to contact the Society prior to arriving at the Center with their donation.
